Florida Family Courts require parents with minor children to complete a parenting course before a parenting plan can be finalized. This course is approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families and the Florida Courts. The course is a required 4 hours and is designed to educate, train, and assist divorcing parents in regards to the impact of divorce on parents and children and effective communication barriers and skills.
