Parent Education & Family Stabilization Class
Florida Family Courts require parents with minor children to complete a parenting course before a parenting plan can be finalized. This course is approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families and the Florida Courts. The course is a required 4 hours and is designed to educate, train, and assist divorcing parents in regards to the impact of divorce on parents and children and effective communication barriers and skills. Children Experiencing Change Group
Change can be difficult for everyone but especially Children, since they don't truly understand what or why certain Change has happened. Children from Divorce/Separation, Remarriage, Family Member with Drug/Alcohol Issues, Mental Illness, Loss or Family Member Away/Back from Military Service. "Children in Change" is an 8 Week Group. Tuesdays Groups 8-11 year olds and Thursdays 12-15 year olds. Divorce/Separation Support Group
Divorce/Separation Support Group: Healing from a Divorce/Separation/Breakup or finding out about Infidelity is not easy. It's a long, sometimes painful process. Don't try to go through it alone. This group addresses the needs of those who are stuck in any stage of the process and want to move forward. With the help of others in your same situation. The benefit of this Group is the development of becoming capable of applying new techniques when feeling overwhelmed or alone. Discussed amongst peers, we begin to feel less guilty, shameful or lonely.
