I enjoy getting to know the wide variety of people of all ages and life experiences. The relationship of trust that develops provides a sacred and healing place in which growth and transformation can happen. To have the privilege of being present, actively supporting this process, gives me meaning and joy.
Due to my stage of life in pre-retirement, I welcome clients that need professional assistance but are not in a state of crisis, extreme overwhelm or high emotional distress necessitating intensive treatment.
Having practiced for 40 years, initially as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and since 1997, additionally as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I have had the privilege of developing a wide range of specialized training in many common as well as unusual mental health and relational concerns.
I grew up cross-culturally in Central America, as a Third Culture Kid. I have been married for 40+ years, have 3 adult children, and 9 grandchildren. One of our children was adopted, and 2 of our children have married cross-culturally.
