Call 800-693-1916 to set up an intake session. My clients are seen for either individual or couples therapy. I enjoy working with providing therapy for trauma (or stressors), whether that be minor or severe, often with previous diagnoses of PTSD, anxiety, or depression, or other comorbidities (ADHD, insomnia, etc). Whatever mental health struggles you suffer from, we will work together on a diagnosis and treatment plan. For couples, the diagnosis is for the individual who signed up for the therapy sessions. If needed, I can connect you to outside resources outside of therapy as needed with hope for creating positive change soon.
I have a trauma-informed specialty, as my previous work was with survivors of torture, with training from the Harvard Medical School certification course in Global Mental Health: Trauma & Recovery. My continuing education has focused on HMS courses such as Brain Medicine, The Herbert Benson MD Course in Mind Body Medicine, and Meditation & Psychotherapy.
As a veteran, I recognize it is important to have face-to-face availability at times when other therapists may not provide service in hopes that all clients have access to therapy. This means I offer sessions in Ann Arbor seven days a week (including weekends) and I hope to add even more hours in Ann Arbor in the future.
