My name is Keith Norman, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in El Sobrante, CA. I enjoy working with premarital couples most using Cognitive Behavior Therapy. In therapy, we explore thoughts, emotions, and actions while pursuing our treatment goals. Clients that are a good match are consistent in attendance, self-aware of their mental, emotional, and spiritual self, and willing to discuss their life experiences. I am most confident in helping couples develop strong relationships and work through relational challenges.
I most often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing in my approach to therapy. I also consider a client's spiritual or religious background using Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy. My approach could be described as a collaboration between therapist and client toward shared therapeutic goals.
I typically exude a positive, encouraging, humble tone. I believe my clients have the solution to their challenges within them. I offer different perspectives to help discover the missing link to their success. I genuinely care about my clients and appreciate our therapeutic journey together toward growth and healing.
