I hold Master's degrees in Counseling/School Psychology and Industrial/Organizational Psychology and have been in practice since 1996. I employ a solution-focused approach to counseling that is customized to the individual. Typically, goals are formulated together in the first session and a plan for addressing the targeted issues is established. This model empowers clients to successfully reach their goals and develop effective problem-solving skills so that they not only feel better; they get better.
I specialize in treating clients who may be experiencing problems with depression, anxiety, and relationships. Utilizing cognitive-behavioral techniques, lifestyle modifications, and guided visualization, the vast majority of my clients gain new skills and are able to practically apply them in their life in a very short period of time.
