I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in South Central Pennsylvania and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I have been practicing as a counselor since 2003. I work with adults and specialize in depression, anxiety, stress, and anger using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques to help my clients make progress, start feeling better, and find a life worth living.
My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I believe that the most important aspect of counseling is a solid therapeutic relationship. Therefore, I will take time to get to know you and what your goals are for counseling. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques.
I am a skilled listener. That doesn’t mean I won’t challenge those beliefs and doubt labels that shape the way we respond to the world. I often use humor to keep it real while helping you explore deeper to help you process through your stuff. I will always hold a calm, non-judgmental, and safe space for anyone I work with.
