Welcome! With over 25 years of experience working with people of all ages as a trauma and grief therapist, I have helped individuals and families learn to cope with a wide range of issues including partner loss, anxiety, depression, family conflict, complex trauma and sexual assault. I provide parent guidance and coaching for caregivers who have children with challenging behaviors and special needs. I have expertise with foster, kinship and adoptive families. I offer therapy to tweens, teens and young adults who may need support with life transitions and relationships. My work with clients is always collaborative and strength-based.
My many years of professional experience coupled with my lived experience puts me in a unique position to relate to my clients while providing quality, effective and supportive therapy. I also offer clinical consultation to other professionals in the field as well as supervision for social workers not yet fully licensed.
We all know that finding a therapist is no easy task. I believe that it is important to find the right connection with a provider and invite you to reach out for an initial call to see if we would be a good match. I look forward to connecting!
