In my practice, East meets West. I have been a psychotherapist for more than 30 years, providing MHS to veterans, children, adults, couples and families. I have worked at Kaiser Permanente in the Psychiatry Department for 15 years, the City and County of San Francisco for three years, Santa Clara County for 7 years and at the VA Medical Center for a year.
My areas of clinical experience and interest include crisis work, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, occupational stress and substance use issues. While my approach is psychodynamic, I incorporate both cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral modalities in my practice. I am trained in trauma-informed care including CPT and EMDR.
