Hi, I’m Roman, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Connecticut with eight years of clinical experience in the US and Latin America. I work with people navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, abuse, ADHD, difficult relationships, and immigration-related challenges. This work has deepened my understanding of how cultural environment and relationships shape our lives. Clients often describe me as relatable, caring, and approachable. I see you as a whole person—not a list of symptoms—, and I firmly believe in therapy working best when we build a trusting, transparent, and mutually shaped therapeutic space together.
My approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based and strength-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). While I use different tools depending on your needs, ACT and IFS are central to my work.
My goal is to offer a space where you can show up as yourself, without pretending or having everything figured out. Together, we’ll explore patterns that no longer support the life you want, overcome barriers to independence, become more grounded, and move toward a meaningful, values-based life with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.
