ADHD often begins with an assessment to accurately identify it's characteristics as well as any co-occurring conditions, such as depression, anxiety or relationship difficulties. Next involves multi-layered interventions to establish and maintain change. ADHD work is never done in isolation and blends work on other issues.
I teach workshops on ADHD each semester at Santa Barbara City College, Center for Lifelong Learning. (thecll.org) I co-authored the book, Fidget to Focus; Outwit Your Boredom: Sensory Strategies for Living with ADD, which is available through Amazon or at my office. (fidgettofocus.com)
