For the past 40 years I have been practicing in both Louisville and Bardstown,Kentucky. I pride myself in taking a very caring, professional approach to each and every client. I have specialized in anxiety problems but also have worked with many people who have depression. Working with children is especially satisfying as is working with couples in troubled relationships. I believe very strongly in the importance of family and I begin therapy where the client is and what their goals are. Additionally, I’ve presented workshops to hospitals and businesses and supervised new therapists.
I offer an in-depth assessment of the clients problem or problems. If the problem of anxiety is presented, I use evidence based therapies which have been shown to be successful. However, the same approach does not work for everyone and therefore asked to be individualized. The same would apply to other problem areas including depression or marital problems.
