Counseling is about empowering us to make the positive changes in our lives that we believe we need to live a fulfilling and happy life. Sometimes, we have learned dysfunctional thought processes from the experiences life has provided us. Having a trusted professional to help us sift through our beliefs and thoughts in a non-judgmental way can provide us with a different perspective, can enables us to make the changes that we already know we need to make, but have been unable to make happen. I use culturally competent approaches to create a safe space for everyone including those in the LGBTQIA+ community.
I have personal experience with working with anger management, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Addictions in families, Codependency, and how to make change occur in our lives. I offer a different perspective and a non-judgmental approach to empowering people to make positive change occur in their lives.
