I work exclusively on Zoom with adults and couples anywhere in Missouri or Kansas, most especially with clients working on grief and loss, including loss from death, divorce, miscarriage, stillbirth, or other more ambiguous losses. My practice is welcoming to survivors of loved ones who have completed suicide. I work with clients with depression, or those with anxiety and panic from driving fears. I like working with clients with behavioral addictions, especially shoplifting, as well as clients wanting to address their substance addictions, especially with alcohol or marijuana.
I help couples learn effective communication skills, and help partners explore their relationship ambivalence. I work with parents and relatives of loved ones diagnosed with schizophrenia. I am very welcoming and non-judgmental and will nudge you gently forward as needed, allowing you to independently make whatever choices are right for you.
My standard fee is $100 for a 60 - 120 minute therapy session, allowing us time to “unpack” your inner journal. Though I possess numerous "tools" in my toolbox, I believe a non-judgmental therapeutic relationship with a relentless focus on your concerns unleashes your personal growth. I am currently accepting a few more clients.
