I completed a hospital internship, have taught psychology at the university level, and I am now in private practice. I frequently see patients who have been in treatment previously with little improvement. Careful diagnostic investigation often reveals an incomplete diagnosis and consequently the wrong treatment plan. A careful evaluation of your problems will be my first priority and we will jointly develop a treatment plan. I have extensive experience in the testing and treatment of childhood and adolescent disorders including ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum disorders, Depression, Phobias and Anxiety Disorders.
I also have experience treating older adults including those with chronic medical conditions, depression, and anxiety disorders. I have been married for 35 years and we have raised a family. Harmonious family relationships are an important part of happiness and I frequently help spouses and families resolve their conflicts and learn to work together.
Our office is in Kitty Hawk, NC. We offer evening appointments and telehealth appointments. Our secretary will take your calls and answer your questions. We are experienced at filing your insurance.
