For decades I have had the honor of helping people on their journey to overcome difficult life challenges. I am humbled by the trust that so many have gifted me. I strive to create an environment that is validating and empathetic; a sanctuary away from the chaos where you can breathe and relax and figure out what your next step is in order to reach the vision you have for yourself. I also work with musicians, actors, and artists to break through creative blocks allowing a deeper expression of their artistry. I am a retired Supervising Children's Social worker and have extensive experience in dealing with family and individual issues
I am experienced in treating depression, anxiety, substance abuse, survivors of childhood abuse, and couples/marriage counseling, and more. I have written a wide variety of articles regarding, individual, couples, and family/parenting issues. Direct links to my articles can be found at my website, rodlouden.com.
I am author of Monster Relationships: Taming the Beasts that are Killing Your Relationships.and a contributing author to 101 Great Ways to Improve Your Life Vol. 3 (with leading experts such as Mark Victor Hanson, creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series).
