Hello, I'm Rocio Vaca, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I follow a systematic approach to therapy and strive to understand the systems and relationships in individuals' lives while recognizing the need for autonomy. My expertise is in treating childhood trauma with a skill set in family relationships, anxiety, depression, and major life changes. I enjoy working with school age children, adolescents and parents, treating adverse childhood experiences. The goal of the youth is to reach their potential with the loving support of parents/family.
I strive to assist individuals in processing complex emotions and navigating through life adversities in order to gain a peaceful and fulfilling life. Techniques utilized in practice include psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focus, and Systems Theory approaches.
