I am honored to offer you over 27 years of academic knowledge and practical experience that have been the foundation of my clinical practice. I provide you with excellence in every aspect of your clinical consultation and to assist you in improving your quality of life. With extensive expertise in behavioral health and addictions counseling, I am able to provide you with an individualized approach that utilizes the best available tools including psychodynamic therapies, and psychopharmacology referrals when appropriate. I have a deep understanding of multicultural populations and their relation to mood and addiction disorders.
I have extensive experience working with all immigrant populations struggling with behavioral health problems and addiction disorders related to their immigration status. Additionally, I have worked with Accountability Courts (DUI Court, Pre-Trial Diversion, and Compliance Courts), DFCS, the GCFV and the DUI Intervention Program since 1991.
In 1995, I founded the Road to Recovery a comprehensive, culturally and linguistically competent behavioral health practice. Additionally, I have a private practice, Rocio D. Woody LLC, to provide services to immigrant and underserved populations via doxy.me a HIPAA and HITECH secure web-based system. I am an expert witness in immigration-related matters.
