Life's Journey Counseling HAS Immediate Openings. I work with adolescents and adults to address a wide range of emotional and interpersonal problems such as depression, anxiety, PTSD/Trauma, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, grief and loss, and relationship issues. I collaborate with my clients to help identify those self -defeating thoughts or events that have stifled their inner growth.
I use a strength base approach. I am trained and specialize in EMDR to address trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and other challenging life events. I use and have been trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Brief Solution Focus.
I provide a Judgment free environment to process vulnerable thoughts and feelings; however, I'm not going to just tell you what you want to hear. I am straightforward and assist my clients with identifying tools that will help manage their symptoms. I love to empower clients while assisting them with finding more peace and happiness in their life.
