Welcome. In times of stress or uncertainty, ‘going it alone’ often isn’t the best strategy. It is my joy to work with people to find creative, values-driven paths forward when they find themselves feeling stuck, chronically anxious, or isolated. For me, therapeutic conversations include mindful listening, deep respect, and kindness. Being human comes with real, often painful challenges. I specialize in working with women and men dealing with anxiety or sadness that has to do with self-doubt, stage-of-life transitions, social anxiety, fear, or family issues. I’m a trained mindfulness teacher and practitioner, and I bring mind, body and heart practices into therapeutic work with clients, including those dealing with trauma.
I believe skilled, non-judgmental listening, along with compassionate, respectful curiosity, are important to successful therapy. Along with collaborative consultation, I’m able to offer mindfulness practices or expressive arts as therapeutic, heart-opening tools for living with possibility, purpose, and ease.
