My name is Rochelle Frehling and I am a licensed Psychologist interested in working with people to learn how to more effectively manage their emotions and have healthier relationships with their selves and others. I am interested in blended family issues, divorce, and parenting using an eclectic approach tailored to your specific needs. Sometimes, because of things we have gone through in our past we learn protective strategies that end up keeping you stuck. They might be helping you feel safer, but they may be shrinking your life and limiting your opportunity to be your best authentic self.
We all have a need for relationships, but sometimes historical experiences need to be reconciled so you can avoid carrying that into the present. We all can get triggered in relationships, but for some people that have been through traumatic experiences or are more genetically hard-wired to be emotionally sensitive, they can find their emotions overwhelming.
