I have a true passion and strong clinical skills for assisting individuals and couples to work through life's challenges. I believe in the resilience of people and of marriages, and seek to help clients develop the tools to strengthen their lives in the most difficult of circumstances. It is my goal that clients leave every session feeling more hopeful, better equipped and more capable of dealing with their hurt in a healthy manner. I accept clients who I feel will be a good fit with my clinical abilities. A complimentary phone consultation is provided to make that determination.
I specialize in EMDR, which is an extremely effective therapeutic tool used for treatment of trauma, anxiety, phobias, depression, and addictions. EMDR assists with changing the neuropatterns in the brain that keep people "stuck" in unwanted feeling states or behaviors. EMDR helps clients to create true lasting change.
I am experienced in the area of marital counseling and have a very strong pro-marriage approach; believing that, most times, marriages can and should be restored. I welcome clients of various faith backgrounds. I am a Christian, however, and appreciate the opportunities to incorporate a biblical perspective into counseling.

Rochelle D Walsh's Groups

Am I good enough??

Now forming women's group for those struggling with a perpetual sense of unworthiness. This group's purpose will be to assist women in identifying, understanding, and resolving underlying belief and attachment issues underlying feelings of inadequacy. Healing of early wounds takes place in the context of relationships, which makes group therapy a wonderful modality of treatment.
