Reaching out to start counseling shows so much courage! My ideal client is someone who is experiencing a struggle or challenge and is willing to put in the work to try to make a positive change. Understanding how our thoughts influence our feelings and behaviors is helpful when navigating our mental health and our relationships. Sometimes we may use
psychoeducation to give you a better understanding of what is happening in your brain
and/or body. Then we can learn new ways to reframe unhealthy thought patterns which
may improve your mood and interactions with others.
I have over 20 years of clinical experience and am a Qualified Supervisor. My areas of focus are Women’s Mental Health (perinatal, postpartum, fertility treatment and family planning); Sports Performance and Mental Toughness for Athletes (and parents!); relational issues, parenting challenges, grief and trauma, and life transitions.
I bring lived experience and humor to my sessions as well as compassion and honesty.
I create a non-judgmental space where we build on your strengths and identify what is
