I am licensed as a Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist and specialize in couples and families managing difficult dynamics. I have over 20 years of experience in outpatient, inpatient and community based settings and have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), medical family therapy, and other intensive evidence-based treatments. I am laid back and provide a down-to-earth, yet no-nonsense approach to therapy and look forward to speaking with you.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families. I have experience working with difficulty regulating emotions, chronic medical issues and intense family or partner relational problems. I am systems-oriented, and use a collective approach utilizing evidence based practices and in the moment processing and understanding of symptoms and their function.
