My name is Dr. Robyn Melusine (Malmsten). I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in working with creative, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent adults, adolescents, couples, and groups who are ready to begin their trauma healing journey. The people who work with me tend to hold at least one marginalized identity and are seeking an open and safer space in which to explore, process, and integrate their lived experiences. In this space we consider personal experiences, family dynamics, and broader cultural and historical impacts on mental health while finding what healing and liberation means to you.
I am an integrative therapist at heart and work with my clients to tailor my therapeutic approach to their needs, goals, and unique personality. I specialize in integrating mindfulness and the creative arts into existential-humanistic therapy while also employing techniques from EMDR, IFS, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure.
As a trauma survivor myself, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to start this journey or move into deeper layers of it. Thank you for making it this far. If my approach seems like it may be a good fit for you, I'd like to invite you to book a free consultation with me to discuss your goals. Take good care and be well!
