I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and therapist in New York, New Jersey, Florida and California, who has been practicing since 2012. I received my Masters in Social Work from California State University, Northridge and a Masters in Counseling Education from Hunter College. I provide remote psychotherapy in Florida, California, New Jersey and New York.
As someone who had been affected by BDD and anxiety, I have a unique perspective and approach. I combine research-based treatment and my own successful treatment strategies and tailor them to each individual client. BDD, OCD, and Anxiety Disorders can be life-changing and painful.
However, with the right modality, including CBT, exposure response prevention, acceptance commitment therapy, and mindfulness and DBT skills, you can learn to not engage in compulsions, challenge the way you think and feel, and most importantly, come to experience a healthier and better quality of life. I am trauma informed and trained.
