With over 25 years experience as a therapist, I understand the importance of finding a welcoming space for therapy. Often people cope with stress in ways that can cause long-term problems. I specialize in treating individuals with various mental health concerns, including borderline personality disorder (BPD), addiction, LGBTQIA+ related issues, depression, OCT, trauma, and/or anxiety.
I am intensively trained through Behavioral Tech, in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I have completed Levels 1 & 2 of the Gottman Method for couples therapy. I am available for traditional couples therapy, intensive couples therapy sessions, and couples therapy workshops.
Participating in therapy can feel overwhelming for some people. As a therapist, I focus on creating a space that is comfortable and casual. I believe people are doing the best they can with the tools they have. I will use my experience to help you learn more effective ways to navigate through challenging situations.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Group
The DBT skills group teaches mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance skills. These skills groups are a part of the DBT program and occur in addition to weekly individual DBT therapy sessions.
