I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in working with children, teenagers and young adults struggling with anxiety, stress, OCD, and depression. I also have extensive expertise and training working with children and families coping with chronic medical conditions and pain, such as stomach aches, headaches, and food allergies. In addition, I conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments, ADHD evaluations, and early kindergarten entry assessments to help children, teenagers, and college students achieve academic success.
I have worked as an attending psychologist at Boston Children's Hospital, Duke, and UNC and continue to work closely with many pediatricians and specialists to provide the most complete care. I use evidence-based treatments for the best care that is supported by research, and I include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in a personalized, supportive way.
My goal is to help you or your child learn coping skills so treatment is effective quickly. Learning how thoughts, feelings, and behavior are connected can really improve life for kids, parents, and families.
