I have over 20 years experience and have seen how therapy can transform lives. Even if you just want a confidential place to talk, I'm here to listen. I know it is difficult to get started, Thankfully, the first step is all you have to do. Send me an email and I will help with the rest. I have gotten the feedback that I am easy to talk to, help clarify thoughts & feelings, & am direct & engaged in sessions. While my preferred modality is MBCT. I assess what modality would work best for you and I incorporate those as appropriate. I offer in person & telehealth sessions in St. Augustine, FL and telehealth sessions in MD & VA.

I have been a LCSW since 2003. I grew up in Alexandria, VA and have had the pleasure of knowing people from all over the world. I believe in individuality and client centered treatment. I will make certain to listen to what you are searching to gain from therapy and I will give you the tools, healing, and insight to be your best self.

Providing a safe environment is my priority as you share your story with me. We never know how we can benefit from therapy until we try it. I will keep you anchored as you navigate towards intentional change. I will challenge you while honoring your boundaries and goals. My work with adolescents is somewhat similar but initially involves parental input.

I often use Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. During the first session I will ask you questions and at the end of the initial session we will be able to define treatment goals. In the beginning of therapy, I will introduce MBCBT and I will give home assignments to encourage mental relief to occur asap! Initially we focus on improving your present life.
