About
Often personal and professional relationships get complicated and difficult. This results from our patterns of behavior and how we experience the world. Also true, is that we do not easily see what blocks us from having a more fulfilling and meaningful life. The psychotherapy I offer, allows for better understanding of reflexive and often no-longer-helpful reactions and responses which can cause anxious or depressed moods, conflicted relationships and decreased satisfaction in personal and professional relationships. By making a commitment to your well being and by using your therapy, your life can become richer and more meaningful.
In addition to working with individuals' personal struggles, I also consult with executives in business. My work includes assessing group dynamics and processes as well as individual professional performance. Getting some outside perspective on team functioning, personal style and professional maturation often proves helpful in smoothing out a dysfunctional team or process.
Of note, while I still see individuals, and couples, I often use group psychotherapy as my primary therapeutic modality. Group offers a very rich and helpful experience that fosters understanding and growth.

General Psychotherapy Group
With up to 8 people in group, the goal is to be in the moment with other group members and to give and recieve feedback. Often it is difficult to notice our impact on others and group offers a clearer window into our thinking, feeling and behaviour. Relevant pieces of one's life, afford the opportunity to notice what is out of view in our interactions with others and our reactions to others.
