I'm personally and professionally interested in helping people recover from trauma, not only PTSD, but also medical trauma and dealing with chronic disorders, along with anxiety and depression. I keep a limited caseload so I can devote time and attention to my clients, who know they can reach out to me for help when things feel too much. My clients know I care and am committed to them. My goal is to help you find out what you want to change about your life. Then we'll match those needs with the most effective treatments. I’m open to new ideas, ND affirming and love the animals in my life that keep me sane!
I work primarily with people struggling with anxiety, depression and trauma. That can be tough to get through alone, but fortunately there are some pretty effective treatments. I've had training on Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (for trauma) and Trauma-Focused CBT. They're a mouthful but do work!
I'm talking to you to directly, I'm tired of AI "help." I work best with 2 kinds of people: if you want specific skills training and then move on, I'm good with that.
