I help people who are feeling anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or plagued by old or new "stuff". I love working with those who are ready for a change in their life, whether that be with their mood, behaviors, thoughts, or relationships. I've had the opportunity to work with and help many who identify as feeling anxious, depressed, struggling with relationships or communication, or those looking to overcome current or past trauma. I have witnessed these persons work through their struggles and live healthy, happy lives full of meaning. I am steady, yet compassionate and am committed to my client's healing.
I love working with those who have experienced hardship because they tend to be intelligent, sensitive, resilient people who accomplish so much once their anxious energy is channeled in a healthy way. Those who have survived trauma, whether it be abuse, relationships, deployment, medical, or otherwise, are some of the most courageous people.
I utilize an eclectic approach to meet the client's needs. I am specifically trained in EMDR to address traumatic experiences and utilize mindfulness-based skills to tackle anxiousness. For those that experience more depression, cognitive-behavioral therapy is employed. I will provide you with honest, but respectful feedback to help you reach your goals.
