In today's world, we are busy, stressed, overwhelmed... I am experienced with helping people through life's challenges. I have been a therapist (clinician) since 2002. I am a licensed independent social worker. I earned a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa and a Doctorate in Social Work from Capella University. I have worked for years with young children (2 years old) and up with behavioral concerns using PCIT with parents. I have experience in treating depression, anxiety, disordered eating, ADHD, and life transitional challenges such as divorce, abuse, domestic violence, loss. Modalities used are typically DBT, CBT and PCIT.
