It is said that in life, "Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional." Meaning, it is part of the human condition to experience grief, loss, and possibly trauma. I use that saying as both a personal mantra and a guiding principle for therapy. You're invited to see how that revolutionary approach can bring JOY back into your daily life!
Specializing in adolescents, adults, and trauma survivors of all ages, Robin honors the ability of your body and mind to heal. Robin is trained in EMDR and helps facilitate your ability to heal traumatic past events that cause distress in the here and now. Robin also conducts mental health assessments for people seeking immigration status (VAWA, Asylum).
Robin is also a Black Belt Nia Instructor and offers healing classes throughout the Denver and front range area. Nia combines martial arts, dance arts, and healing arts for a dynamic physical workout and mindfulness practice. Nia is based on the pleasure principle--through movement we find health.
