Are you looking for a supportive and open-minded therapist to assist you with your goals? I utilize strengths based, culturally sensitive, and trauma informed practices in treatment. I have a non-judgmental and direct approach. I enjoy tailoring treatment to you in a space that can be enjoyable as well as challenging and healing. My work includes treatment with clients experiencing trauma, divorces, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, substance use, ADHD, bi polar, and co occurring.
I utilizes several, evidenced based, treatment models such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, and DBT treatment. I also have experience working with co occurring disorder clients with substance abuse, children, teenagers, couples, LGTBQ, and bariatric clients providing behavioral management techniques and social skills training.
Looking for a therapist can be challenging and over whelming. I strongly believe in taking an eclectic approach as each client presents with a unique story and challenges. I have training in psychodynamic therapy, somatic therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, trauma-focus CBT, and strengths based therapy. I am open to take new clients with all insurances.
