I focus on clients who want much more out of life, without disabling anxiety, depression, and compulsive behavior. I help clients become aware of self-defeating beliefs, while living richer and empowered lives based upon acceptance of what IS along with the courage to make solid and lasting changes. Clinical services include treatment of anxiety disorders such as panic disorder and generalized anxiety disorder, eating disorder treatment such as the treatment of bulimia, anorexia nervosa, and binge eating, and the treatment of couple and family relationship difficulties, including co-parenting issues. I have a special interest in women's issues.
With a nursing background and another graduate degree in public health, I am interested in working with health-related issues, particularly issues related to women's health. I am interested in well-being, wellness coaching and mind-body medicine. I emphasize mindfulness skills, mindfulness meditation, self-acceptance and self- compassion.
My work is mainly about helping others free themselves from destructive thoughts and emotions. Distress, painful life events and disappointments are part of the human condition, but we can learn to take these things in stride with self-acceptance, self- compassion and empowerment rather than self-blame and self-criticism.

Groups
Empowerment and Self Compassion for Women
Robin promotes self-acceptance and self-compassion for women, and particularly likes helping her clients rid themselves of harsh and stressful self-criticism, self-defeating beliefs and behaviors, and lack of assertiveness. Small groups of 5-8 women work together in finding and embracing a new vision of emotional strength, self-acceptance, and self compassion. The results are often surprising as the group process and expert group facilitation help you develop a new set of tools for making significant and positive life changes.
