Therapy invites you into a safe space with a trusted guide to explore and experience vulnerable feelings, without holding it all alone. If you are afraid of not being good enough and feel inadequate, or if you feel uncomfortable with feeling good, you may be self medicating your feelings with food, work, sex, social media, spending or substances in order to cope as best you can. I can help you with alternative self care options in order to have more presence and health, and to live in pride rather than from a place of shame. Different parts of you can be in conflict and want different things; such as closeness and distance.
My style is very warm, straightforward and intuitive. I can be active or quiet in deep listening mode, depending on what is needed. No need to prepare for therapy, or fix or change yourself........come as you are and I will meet you! We are in partnership. Allowing yourself to express your story may in itself transform the narrative.
