Hello, my name is Robin Hunter, and I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with a focus on individuals, couples, and families. I have many years of experience both in Private Practice and as a Clinical Supervisor in Outpatient County Mental Health Clinics in Southern California. I prefer working on short-term issues that I can assist you in resolving and provide you with resources so you can identify future issues as they arise and resolve them before they become problematic.
I usually work with individuals, couples, and families that have been functioning well but are currently experiencing a specific event or problem that they feel needs to be addressed and discussed with a professional. These problems can typically result in anxiety and/or depression.
I create a relaxed calm environment with my clients. I listen carefully to better understand the situation, and as a means for my clients to understand their behaviors. I help my clients develop the tools to solve their problems that they can apply in future situations.
