Life can be difficult and often full of struggles, challenges, changes, and the unexpected. We sometimes can keep these events in our minds, whether at the front to consciously influence all of our decisions, or sometimes packed away to protect ourselves. I enjoy working with individuals who know they want different circumstances in their lives and may be unsure how to get there. I believe that our mental wellness is tied to our emotional and physical wellness. Therefore, I am very passionate about health, helping and healing.
My specific areas include: trauma (PTSD, attachment), marriage, parenting, anger management, anxiety and depression, shame, self-esteem, dissociation, among others.) I adopt an integrative approach to therapy, focusing primarily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and incorporating Person-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive ProgressingTherapy (CPT).
I meet my client's where they are at and allow you to be in the driver's seat as we work together to create goals for therapy. We go at a pace you are comfortable with.
