Have you suffered abuse, neglect, hardship, or illness that has impacted your ability to move forward and thrive? Let's connect. I want to help you achieve a life worth living. As an EMDR Certified Therapist and Consultant, I have extensive training and experience in supporting clients who have endured single traumatic events, experienced abusive relationships, or suffered through abusive childhoods.
As a trauma therapist, my primary objective is to help clients release the emotional distress and shame that may have persisted for a lifetime.
I see my role as a facilitator, guiding clients to recognize their inherent internal fortitude. The skills they have developed to cope and survive are valuable reminders of their inner strength—even when these have become feelings, habits, or tendencies that they are ready to shed.
In our initial session, I conduct a comprehensive psychosocial assessment to clarify the root causes of concerns while highlighting strengths you may not have noticed on your own. Psychological testing can uncover symptoms that might have gone unrecognized. Then, we'll begin to shed burden and build new skills, attitudes, and outlooks for the future.
