Hi. Are you feeling overwhelmed and anxious? Are you feeling disconnected from others and having a difficult time communicating needs and desires to loved ones? I can help with that. I have been working with people on communication and negotiation of needs for many years. Being raised in a foster home, by my adopted parents, has helped my gain skills that I would not have had the opportunity to acquire otherwise, such as, accepting everyone for who they are and where they come from regardless of their background.
I survived a childhood of trauma and multiple challenges. At one point, I even left school, but once I returned to school, I not only enjoyed it, I thrived in it. I have focused my practice on helping those who have had similar struggles, and utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including EMDR, to achieve this.
I know that that it feels like what we face is insurmountable, and it can feel as though things will never get better. I am here to tell you that is not true. It can get better. You are not alone.
