I am Robin Blackwell, an LCSW with 15 years of experience working with adults and children seeking help with depression, anxiety, anger management, inability to focus, and life transitions. I completed both my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and my Master of Social Work (MSW) at Radford University.
I utilize motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as mindfulness-based and solution-focused treatment modalities. I enjoy using a holistic approach that includes breath work, meditation, and guided imagery to assist with acceptance, relaxation, and mood regulation.
I seek to establish a therapeutic relationship and assist you in building on your personal strengths to achieve your goals and enhance your overall well-being. I will encourage you and help you strive to be your best possible self.
