I believe that therapy is a partnership. Together, we can explore the issues that are concerning you and the things you would like to change in your life. Through therapy we can identify and remove old beliefs, patterns and fears that get in the way of fully enjoying life. My approach is relaxed, supportive, holistic, empowering and nonjudgmental. I integrate a variety of approaches including EMDR, somatic work, mindfulness, cognitive/behavioral skill building, experiential techniques, and traditional "talk therapy".
We can address specific, current life challenges as well as heal deeper childhood wounds.
I can help with a range of issues: addictions, depression, anxiety, relationship and family difficulties, childhood traumas and more recent traumatic events .
My relaxed, playful approach is helpful in building an alliances with older children and adolescents to help build confidence, develop emotional regulations skills and improve
school performance and social skills.
I offer parent counseling/coaching to help parents work together to understand and address their children's difficulties.
