Welcome! My name is Robin Beck and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I will work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar, trauma, PTSD, substance use as a comorbid issue, ADHD, adjustment disorder, anger management, behavioral issues, and relational issues. I specialize in CBT, DBT, person-centered, positive psychology, solution-focused, existential, and trauma-informed therapy when working with clients. I believe once the root of the problem is discovered, we can process it and find positive strategies to heal through the painful core issue.
I believe you should work towards one attainable goal at a time, and by assisting you towards a realistic plan, you can achieve progress within a short amount of time. I will be direct in communication with you by being genuinely honest. I believe you are the experts in your own life, and my job is lovingly to support you in making your own guided choices.
During the first session, we will complete intake while also giving an overview of how the therapy relationship will look. I will work during the first session to establish rapport that will allow you to feel comfortable sharing your feelings moving forward to see if we are a good match for one another.
