I have provided more than 16 years of licensed professional counseling services in the state of PA prior to moving to Delaware in fall of 2021. I have worked with clients of all ages, mostly adolescents and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, stress and personality disorders. During my career, I taught Family Studies, Child and Human Development and Teen Concerns courses in an urban school district for 23 years, as well. I received my master's degree from Kutztown University in counseling Psychology and my undergraduate degree from Albright College in Reading, PA.
Together with my clients, we collaborate on a treatment plan to address specific needs in order to meet the goals of therapy using CBT, Supportive Therapy, Motivational Therapy and Art Therapy techniques. When we begin, I ask clients to take a walk with me as we explore their path to wellness.
I don't take the lead, but rather hold a flashlight as we go on a healing journey together.
