About
Are you experiencing a challenging transition or are you starting to notice patterns in relationships that do not serve you? You can expect a gentle, compassionate style incorporating knowledge of how your physical body has registered life experiences with particular attention to how these experiences impact your present day quality of life. We will focus on what you have learned about yourself, beliefs you have about yourself and the world around you, rather than specific events. This work will change how you live in relationship to yourself and others!
I am a Masters Level Clinician with more than 15 years of experience in the field. I work with adults, youth, couples and families who are struggling in their current circumstances and/or relationships. I am trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a somatic treatment modality as well as a Registered Art Therapist.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, clients may benefit from studying patterns in physical movement and posture that hold beliefs about self that originated in childhood. Understanding these procedural patterns or body postures help free one from negative beliefs about oneself.
