Choosing a therapist can be a daunting task. I work toward providing an atmosphere of respect, support, trust and caring which can lead to a greater potential for self understanding, healing, relief and the opportunity to see and make different choices. In private practice for 20 years, I have a varied practice, working with individuals, couples and families with a wide range of difficulties. Areas of particular specialty include working withindividuals who have experienced trauma, relational difficulties, eating disorders, anxiety, depression and issues of adolescence.
My approach to psychotherapy is an eclectic one, based on the philosophy that we are all unique, with our own individual histories, experiences, strengths and challenges. Given this, I have graduate and specialized post-graduate training in several therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, family systems and humanistic treatment.
I am Clinical Director of Psychological Associates of North Jersey, a group practice of psychologists, clinical social workers and other mental health professionals, providing counseling and evaluations for children, adolescents and adults. We have offices in Hackettstown, Andover, Randolph and Springfield New Jersey, covering Warren, Sussex, Morris and Union Counties.

Children who have experienced bullying often feel isolated and alone.
