With over 30 years of experience in the field of counseling, my focus lies in trauma-related issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, as well as an array of mental health disorders. I am dedicated to providing a safe, caring and supportive environment which in turn allows my clients to feel safe exploring, expressing and adjusting to changes and life’s challenges. My expertise lies in understanding the unique challenges faced by younger individuals and tailoring therapeutic approaches to suit their specific needs.
The foundation of my therapeutic approach is based on empathy, trust, and developing a therapeutic alliance with my clients. As an advocate for evidence-based practice, I utilize CBT, and/or DBT, and infuse the creative arts and play therapy into my craft while customizing the client’s treatment to meet their needs.
