My goals are to give clients & their families tools, and offer genuine support in daily and/or lifelong struggles. My belief is that change is possible for anyone, but the client and their loved ones need to have an open mind, and give love and support. Getting out of your comfort zone is a guarantee, and therapy is the first step. Therapy helps us make changes that lead to lifelong healthy habits of self care and thriving personal relationships.
I have worked the most with adolescent and adult populations, but am able to help children. Specialities include: Autism, anxiety, depression, postpartum, mood and personality disorders, self-esteem, life transitions, substance abuse, eating disorders, personal relationships (family, friend, romantic), and social issues.
My main goal with any client is to create a warm, comforting environment, and work together to choose what is the best path to tackle current problems or repeating patterns. Ups and downs are part of life and therapy, but I never leave a client to fend for themselves. Therapy is an act of growth and learning, not a sign of weakness.
