About
Roberta specializes in working with women and men who have experienced partner relational trauma due to their partner’s problematic sexual behavior (sexual addiction). She is part of a limited and uniquely qualified group of therapists who are highly trained in the APSATS Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model. As an APSATS (The Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists) trained specialist, Roberta provides safety and stabilization, along with care, support and relational healing for those impacted by sexual addiction, relational betrayal and relational trauma.
With betrayal trauma, life becomes unbalanced; dreams ruined; hope and trust gone and the one you thought you knew and loved seems like a stranger. Roberta helps you recover and make sense of your world again by helping you learn how to effectively cope with feelings such as anger, hurt, fear and shame, preparing you for personal and relational restoration.
Roberta is also trained in Gottman Couples Therapy-level 1, and incorporates these tested, proven principles when working with marital couples. She is effective in helping Women, Men, Couples, Marriages, Teens and Adolescents and has experience helping people work through today’s issues. Call today to meet with Roberta, a competent and caring professional.
