My name is Bobby Taylor LCSW, LADC, CCS, and my approach as a therapist is to empower individuals to overcome life’s challenges through compassionate and evidence-based counseling, fostering personal growth and emotional well-being. I specialize in anxiety and stress management, depression, substance use/addiction, relationship issues, life transitions, trauma and PTSD, and self-esteem/confidence building.
In psychotherapy, we will view the mind as a system of parts that include wounded aspects and protective elements that can be in conflict with each other and with one's core Self. We will focus on healing these wounded parts and restoring balance. We will work to rewire automatic thoughts and behaviors that are no longer serving present day life.
I pursued a career as a therapist after walking my own deep, personal journey. I experienced a transformative process in my own life which led to a desire to help others find similar healing. Through facing and overcoming my own challenges, I felt that I could relate to clients on a profound level with a deep sense of empathy and understanding.
